West Virginia Counties

Brooke County

  • Brooke County is the 2nd most northern county in West Virginia and has a population of 25,447. It is home to the City of Wellsburg and Bethany College.

Hancock County

  • Hancock County is the most northern county in West Virginia and has a population of 32,667. It is home to the City of Weirton and acclaimed attractions such as Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort.

Marshall County

  • Marshall County is the 4th most northern county in West Virginia and has a population of 35,519. It is home to the City of Moundsville and historic attractions such as the Grave Creek Mound Archaeology Complex.

Ohio County

  • Ohio County is the 3rd most northern county in West Virginia and has a population of 47,427. It is home to the City of Wheeling, West Liberty State College, Wheeling Jesuit University, and resorts and attractions such as Wheeling Island Hotel, Casino & Racetrack and Oglebay Park.

Wetzel County

  • Wetzel County is the 5th most northern county in West Virginia and has a population of 17,693. It is home to the City of New Martinsville and one of the Bayer Corporation's major North American plants.

Ohio Counties

Belmont County

  • Belmont County is one of Ohio's largest counties, found directly across from Ohio County in West Virginia. Its population is 68,771 and its largest city is St. Clairsville. Belmont County is home to one of country music's largest festival, Jamboree In The Hills.

Jefferson County

  • Jefferson County is directly across the Ohio River from Ohio and Brooke County in West Virginia. Its population is 73,894 and its largest city is Steubenville. It is home to performance and sports legends such as Bill Mazeroski and Dean Martin.

Greene County

  • Greene County makes up the southeast corner of Pennsylvania and has a population of 40,672. Its largest city is Waynesburg and is home to Waynesburg State College.

Washington County

  • Washington County is one of Pennsylvania's eastern-most counties and is part of the greater Pittsburgh Metropolitan area. Its population is 202,897 and its largest city is Washington. It is home to the Washington Wild Things, a semi-pro baseball franchise as well as Post Gazette Pavillion, the region's premier music venue.
